The Lee 101 line pays tribute to over 100 years of craftmanship and quality guarantee by only using premium fabrics and selvage denims. Those selvage fabrics are produced on the very same looms, now exported to Japan, that created the originals in the U.S until 50 years ago.

Such anitquated narrow looms utilize a process that although slow and time consuming, create a denim of tighter knit and narrower width with the famous visible coloured edge, better known as denim self-edge or selvage denim. Lee 101 denims are indentifiable by their blue selvage line – a feature that, used to distinguish Lee denim from the others, is a hallmark of the brand's unquestionable quality.
